Information security is critical and growing concern. Biometrics isn't the total answer, but it can play a role; AUTH is in great position to meet the growing demand.

I believe good companies in the biometric identity business will do well in the near term. I am similarly bullish on ID.

Growing fast, making great deals with big name equipment makers.

This microcap was mentioned on the New Paradigm discussion board. They make fingerprint authentication devices that are installed in laptops to control access.
They show very rapid growth and are already transitioning to profitability. Looks very promising and it's worth putting some money into this one.

Though the internet makes many things more convenient (banking, shopping, etc.) one of the most inconvenient things about it is remembering all those passwords (must be at least six but no more than ten characters, containing at least one letter and one number, case sensitive ... you know the drill) without writing them down on a cheat sheet that defeats the whole purpose of security. Finally someone has figured out how to turn your fingerprint into your password, which is not only more secure, but more convenient too. Plus this is the best technology out there and it's cheap enough that not only James Bond can afford it.

security is going to be an increasingly essential commodity in the future

Sales incredible! Only company it seems dedicated to fingerprint authentication for computers and other devices a slow growing market that will be a standard on all electronics eventually

In what some are calling the most sweeping, grand, eloquent, and gorgeous display of cinematic grandeur and raw gorgeousness since "Gone With the Wind," I selected this stock from PennysPlants in the second webisode of THE DUKE OF WALL STREET on CAPS TV. I was swept away by PennysPlants reckless enthusiasm for Authentec and believe that the need for human beings to correctly identify themselves to their machines is going to be on a scale that is almost as massive as my persona. They apparently do some kind of mumbojumbo with fingerprint authentication. No need to yawn through the details. PennysPlants is on board, and knowing that, I can sail off to a sea of riches with confidence and vigor. While I respect the other two stocks noted in that show, Manucastle's BRK. B (yawwwwwwwn) and elingford's GME, I prefer to swing for a head lopping with each stock pick and AUTH is most exciting to me.

fingerprint identity security and lot more adoptions on the way

This is a leading edge technology company, making fingerprint scanners for all types of access control markets. Given that security is getting more and more press (whether it be from identity theft scams, loyalty card programs, or online venues), this is the wave of the future controlling these avenues. Eventually, everyone will be required to have a fingerprint scanner beside their computer (as ubiquitous as their mouse) for logging into their bank, shopping online, even visiting The Motley Fool. The company is not yet in the black, but I think if it can keep advancing this technology, reducing false positives and continuing to penetrate new markets, it has a good shot at beating the S&P 500 handsomely.

although stocks were tanking but this stock wasn't falling as fast as others. it's been pretty steady these past week with all the ups and downs. i'll say that's pretty good.
