If I am an example, travel is down as is business related spending which is what I use AMEX for.

AXP cardmember spending is up 8%. In Q4, AXP beat estimates for revenue and EPS. The sell off of bank and credit card stocks today was in response to possible banking taxes and additional regulation. Investors had also priced the Q4 earnings optimism into credit card and banking stocks.
