This is a great stock, it will gain with it working with other companies, but it will not out pace the S&P. This is going to be a steady stock with few huge gains.

Oncology is a major area for any pharmaceutical company. Arimidex is about to go off patent in the next two years and they have no other blockbusters that are far along in clinical trial development.

I like the MedImmune acquisition but their balance sheet looks like crap- 5billion in cash vs 15billion in debt, plus negative earnings and revenue. Think it will take some time before the MedImmune acquisition starts to pay off

While AZN has made a smart deal with Palatin (PTN), I'm generally bearish on big pharma. Lots of legislation is going to come about that will cost them a lot of money.
