Once Boeing gets it's 787 into the air and qualified for the World Market they will over take the Airbus market for market share. Put them on cruise control for the next ten years at least. Good long term investment!

Boeing has suffered from the Dreamliner delays but this is not to be expected with the technological leap undertaken developing this airplane. With four billion new customers for airlines in the developing world coming in the next couple of decades and with the wide technological moat and a forward P/E of less than 11, this is a growth company priced as a value company.

We are incredibly reliant on planes in the modern world and despite airlines being something I avoid buying no one else has the cabability (that I know of) to replace boeing or even become decent competition.

Lots of orders, the 787 will ship and Airbus can't match it. Expecting 60+ by end of the year.

Boeing, while having issues getting their latest plane finished and off the ground, will eventually succeed. I'm pretty sure they're a safe bet over the next year. But don't believe me - go look at their financial reports, read the news on their progress. A few set back here and there, plant closing, layoffs, etc. but overall I think this is a good stock to purchase.

Huge thumbs up, big 8% jump because they set a test fligh date for the dreamliner? thats a sign that this stock has been beat up to far and people are wanting to jump back in. Rosavia recently requested 65 planes. They should follow the market untill the plane is realeased or scheduled for released, then the share price will really take off, but untill then we do have a nice 3.4% div yield to lean back on

Boeing is still a dynamic and pioneering company.
The 787 program has been full of problems ( less out-sourcing please), but this plane will fly and it is going to be immensely popular with airlines, primarily due to it's ability to cut fuel costs substantially. In the meanwhile, Boeing has more than 2000 orders on the books for the immensely popular 737.

Aerospace will enter a new purchase cycle for more efficient planes. The dreamliner should fly soon, beating airbus. Management seems to be improved and the company is best in breed and is ready for the next cycle.

If you are a speculator, than run away.
This is low risk, long term investment rather suitable for pension fund (where I am keeping it). The air travel expected to raise, mostly because of South-East Asia, where it supposed to triple over just next two decades. You can buy an airline shares and bet on higher return, but this is the case of a gold rush: those who sale shouvels make sure money. Did you know that 787 will be able to deliver passenger from Hong Kong to London whlie flying over Pasific ? That would make them most economical, reliable, and ecological plane on the planet - exact opposite of present GM!

The Dreamliner 787 is poised to be just what airlines need to make routes from the Eastern US go deeper into Asia, as well as relieve choked routes within Asia. Prices will probably dip some if (or, unfortunately, probably more like when) there are more delays to it, so you might want to wait a little while to buy. But when the 787 finally takes off, so will Boeing.

Boeing may hit a bump in the road in the next year or so, but long term this company looks awesome. As soon as the 787 takes the first flight, this stock won't look back.
