This one is a bit of speculation as a takeover play, regardless of the new CEO's protestations. The benefit is a company with good fundamentals in a growth industry to fall back on.

Whether Blue Coat turns the corner under Borman or gets snapped up by a bigger fish, it looks like good thing lie ahead for shareholders. I'm adding this stock to my CAPS portfolio to capture that opportunity.

Following TSIF's pick. Looking at the numbers, marginal RoA & RoE, but quarterly growth of 16% (Revenue) and 550% (Earnings), debt is less than 10% of Market Cap, and they hold more cash than short-term debt (so not bad at all). Currently, PEG ratio is at 0.72, with forward P/E of 11.4 (good) and trailing P/E of 65.5 (yikes!). So, a mixed bag, but generally a thumbs-up.

The tendency of indivuduals guides both corporate and individual strategy. New year is the time when people, however frutile, attempt to make a new start or change to improve their position. This is the prime time for a computer and business enhancing software boom. Not to mention, it is time to update anti-virus software, and this is one of the 4 companies in the AV arena.
