The tendency of indivuduals guides both corporate and individual strategy. New year is the time when people, however frutile, attempt to make a new start or change to improve their position. This is the prime time for a computer and business enhancing software boom. Not to mention, it is time to update anti-virus software, and this is one of the 4 companies in the AV arena.

BSCI represents a cheaper way to play the growing WAN optimization market.
Company continues to successfully leverage its integrated security and WAN Optimization product which will allow the company to outperform. Blue Coat's appliance had by far the most knobs and buttons, not surprising given that the SG line has been around for some time. This puppy goes beyond more pure-play WAN optimizers, like Cisco's WAAS, Citrix's WANScaler and Silver Peak's NX Appliance. It performs URL filtering, for example, and it's notable that Blue Coat's SG is the only product tested that can decrypt, optimize and re-encrypt SSL traffic--an increasingly important capability as SSL is used more and more in internal networks
