This account tracks the less exciting stocks from my watch list - companies that are easy to understand with clean balance sheets and good track records in relatively straight-forward industries.

strong 5 year ROE& profit margin improvement and still at reasonable PE ratios

I do not think the oil service industry is going to fail in market strength anytime soon!

Oversold after horrible earnings, but North America has bottomed according to company and things are looking up. Wall Street is forward looking. Get in to this for real before it takes back off...

The upcoming winter especially in the USA and China will increase the demand of oil drastically in the coming 6 months. You can drive a Toyota Prius to reduce oil reliance, but you cannot do without heating up your house.

This is a bet on the oil industry rather than a bet on Baker Hughes. I consider BHI to be a better option than Schlumberger and Halliburton.

Fundamentally very strong.

This is a solid company suffering recently from pressure in the energy sector along with the rest of the market tumble. It has, in the long run, always outperformed the S&P 500, and will continue to do so in the future.

A leader in both drilling fluids technology, and directional drilling. Directional drilling is key in the natural gas plays because of all these producing shale reservoirs. You get much more bang for your buck when you take one well laterally and frac across, rather than drill several vertical holes and frac every single one of them (which also can risk communication between wellbores and potential damage to other reservoirs if the frac job goes wrong).
