I'm getting back into Biodel despite the downtrend due to the artificiality of CAPS and the arbitrary 100M market cap limit. Of course, Biodel still qualifies because of yesterday's 108M cap. The actual cap right now is 97M so it's really the lowest… More

This pick is really an ego-trip, designed to cement my hold on Biodel score leadership. Of course, that comes at the risk of throwing it away. On December 30, the company submitted their doomed Viaject NDA. Why is it doomed? See my prior pitches on this stock. Sorry for the extra work. But the FDA will likely accept the NDA application at about the end of February which will likely result in a meaningless jump in the share price. And who knows to what heights of false optimism retail investors can froth themselves up to prior to the actual PDUFA? So, for the long term Biodel is Biodead, but I'll take the 100M CAPS minimal entry point for a ride.

Approval date in October should at least double the market value of this company. Clinical data looks great.
