I initially picked BK to underperform based on the fact that it's a bank. Shoot first, ask questions later type call.

Cracks are beginning to be noticeable in the banking sector. Bank closings don't appear to be decreasing. The next round of bank bail-outs are less likely to be kind to the common stock or bond holders.

Nice Assets! What liabilities? In 1987 during the savings and loans, banks that had BK's position rebounded with gains averaging 112%. They are poised to make some big moves.
