Temporary boost from franchise contracts won't forever offset a bad menu, poor marketing/image, and empty parking lots. When the franchises start to bail the whole operation will fall apart.

After a nice pullback on light volume from $18.46 still trading above major moving averages with stochastic just turning up on heavy volume makes it a nice technical trade right now.
Plans of opening hundreds of restaurants in Russia and one thousand chains in China over next several years as the number two burger chain world wide and more global expansion underway the stock should have plenty of room for growth.

I'm red thumbing this just on priciple-
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2271440/Burger-King-admits-selling-beef-burgers-Whoppers-containing-horse-meat.html#axzz2JmUR1pvH
Not because they served horsemeat in their burgers but the fact that they did bussiness with a supplier that would sport such a shoddily made sign.
Seriously look at the second pic in the article. The most aggregious of offenses is that they didn't use stainless studs to attach the raised letters in silvercrest. That's why you see the rust stains running down.
Second issue is with seams, seams are not desirable, so you try and minimize them to one at the middle. If the customers willing to pay for it there is a way to eliminate the seam entirely.
Third and last issue, whats up with the concrete slab, yeah that looks lovely(sarcasm) and also way more work then just digging two holes and sinking your pole 42' (depending on frost line of the area)
Also why no skirt, do you really want to look at the poles. Maybe I'm biased but I don't trust any copany or those associated with them if they don't have a quality sign.

New business model and revamping of its image will help boost this stock. Burger King is even now starting to compete with McDonald's on a wide scale.

In the long run, I don't think this stock is better than the market. I don't think its going away, I just don't think its better than average. Sorta reminds me of their food -- blah.

International expansion with joint venture partners on the hook for the capital and BKW will get a 5% royalty off the top. MCD and YUM have over 30k stores worldwide. Just 12k now for BKW so a lot of room to run. Recent joint venture partnerships in Brazil, China, and Russia will get this ball rolling in a big way.

The only real reason to buy this company is to make an Asia play.
As a former resident in Japan and current resident in China, I can say that people of these two countries are extremely brand loyal. I can safely assume S. Korea is more or less the same. Don't expect them to jump ship from McDonald's to BK just because there's a new restaurant on the block. Foreigners eat at McDonald's because they want a slice of American culture. Burger King doesn't have nearly enough status and worldwide recognition to be a "brand name" (which Asian people CRAVE!). When it comes to hamburgers and foreign countries, MCD will always be #1. Yum Brands (actually quite a bit stronger than MCD in China) will be the top dog with chicken and pizza.
BK has been trying to enter the Japanese market forever, yet still struggles. I'm guessing that the results will be more or less the same in China.
If China's growth is stalling, BK couldn't have picked a worse time to build 1000 more restaurants. No thanks.
