Snore. A boring bank led by a boring management team with massive insider ownership. Credit losses have been minimal over history.

For those keeping score, that's just about everything you want to see in a bank.

Adding it to a list of "real money potential" stocks, but I'd like to get it cheaper.

Quarterly Report due out end of Oct will tell the story of upper management failure to allow local market leaders to be involved in decisions. Income Rev will be down as healthy businesses leave or are pushed out of BOKF for better service at truly local banks.

This is a one-star company within 10% of its 52-week high. It's gotta go down some time!

Sources inside BOKF tell me that it is consistently making mistakes in its hourly employee payroll. It frequently underpays and overpays due to the incredibly complex and backwards system they use. Hourly employees cannot decipher their own pay stubs, and when they ask their bosses, their bosses are baffled too. It has been this way for years, with no signs of improvement on the way.

If BOKF is so incompetent and careless about something as fundamental as paying hourly employees properly, then I have to wonder where else they are playing fast and loose with the numbers. In the long term, this lack of attention to detail will cause problems for any company. This is especially true, though, for a bank; a bank is founded on its reputation and on people's faith in its ability to handle their money properly and with scrupulous detail.

BOKF is expanding into Colorado, Texas, and Arizona. I wouldn't be suprised to see them expand into other growth states within the next year. The chairman of BOKF has taken a small bank and turned it into a regional power. I don't think he'll be happy until he gows national. This means growth.
