I'm picking Brookfield long as a best in class hedge against my REIT shorts

while I think all REITS have major issues in the next couple years BPO is well positioned to take advantage when it's all over

BPO is New York REIT. Lots of vacancy, rent declines, hard to roll-over credit. Next shoe to drop is commercial real-estate - that bubble is not yet burst. Workin in a coal mine, going down, down.....

Excellent portfolio but threaten by its financial tenants. The stock has already been beaten quite a lot and it's not a good opportunity for long term investment.
