Awesome growth prospects in Hispanic markets in major U.S. cities. Very visible sponsorship of NY Mets, who are doing very well this season with solid Puertorrican players in a high % Puertorrican and Hispanic market. Young and very capable management with conservative compensation packages. More than 110 year history operating successfully in Puerto Rico. Price recently negatively affected by other Puerto Rico banks' problems due to accounting methodologies and a Puerto Rico government partial shutdown in May, 2006. Accounting issues should probably resolve themselves in the next 12-18 months. Government problems will likely continue until next elections. Overall, a cheap stock price of a solid company which will be in business for many, many years.
