BPZ Energy, Inc. success depends upon the government situation of Peru. Right now with a pro-communist leftist leader, the economic situation can change any minute. For now BPZ is enjoying some success.

- Connections: The CEO's father is a former energy minister in Peru. You kidding me?
- The International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group is heavily invested in terms of loans, equity, and reputation
- It is "THE" Peruvian oil company
- Oil prices are rebounding from desperate lows and as sensibility returns so will sentiment towards oil companies.
