I think walking outside the house to pick up a newspaper is a lot better than watching spinning bars on my AAPL devices, Microsoft joker aside, ha, ha... I think a lot should be one word, not two.

As a free recommendation to the CEO of this juggernaut of a company, ok, listen, there is a company called VMI, I think it would make an ideal addition to your enterprise because the company, Valmont Industries, is currently trading under its intrinsic value and growing at a reasonable rate. Thank you, with or without a comma, Mr. Buffett for your contributions to the world of value-based security analysis with or without capital letters. My local power company is DTE and I live next to a mouse trap known as IKEA. Have a great March and Pi Day. I hope you enjoyed reading this pitch with or without ketchup on your Berger.

Buffett is building an empire that will not crumble with his physical passing. The Cult of Buffett will live on in the people that he has installed in the leadership of Berkshire Hathaway. Who would bet against a company that is literally taking over a massive energy infrastructure; has a great portfolio of powerful brands; has built a great cash flow from its insurance and railroad operations; and holds an intimidating portfolio of equities? Berkshire Hathaway also trades at a discount to the S&P 500. If people are always saying, "you might as well buy an index fund," (which I don't think is true) then Berkshire is the S&P 500 on sale! In buying Berkshire, you are partnering with the management teams of over 50 of the best companies as assessed by the powerful mind of Warren Buffett. Great long-term winner!

BRK.A is currently priced considerably higher than its historic trends for P/E, Price/Book, etc. Being one who tends to believe that large, stable companies tend to "revert to the mean", I suspect that BRK.A will likely just tread water for then next 2 years until its valuation metrics come back more in line with historic trends.

It is just one of the greatest public companies ever run by two men, Warren Buffett and Charlie Mumger, who are determined to leave behind a miracle of a legacy for the history books. That's how I feel for Berkshire Hathaway.
May God be with them and with us all.

There is no slowing down Berkshire, they will be rock solid even after Buffett steps down
