Long-term, this company will win. Even when Buffett and Munger finally step down, Berkshire has the best management team in the business. And BNSF is just another pillar to keep the company strong for the forseeable future.

I owned BNI originally but sold at high cuz the split didnt look favorable to me from that side. I believe in BRK-B will beat the market for the next couple years at least since now even the mom and pop investors can afford to put some cash into the Buffet whirlwind even if the earnings might not be as grand as they once were due to the huge sums of cash needing to be placed.

Long term play obviously. Will be volatile and low for a while; at least a year after the railroad acquisition. It won't be profitable right away and they are currently taking on a lot of new investment ventures. It will take a bit for them to develop but once they do the rewards will flow right in.
