The ratio on brk-a and b is totally off.

Why after all these years are they offering options on this thing? Someone wants to hedge themselves against losses. I dont see another reason uncle Warren would have given in.

1. too big to gain much;

2. most stocks in this mix are long-term positions that now have higher P/E and lower profit margins than many values stocks we can find on our own.

Long term Buffett will make this a winner 5 years out, but over the next 6-9 months this will drop to 1500 usd /unit or less, as negative earnings of the many financials buffett bought last yr weigh heavly on it. Wish I could short it now, will buy & go long at 1500usd.

Too heavy with financials.

In sports betting, when a team gets 'hot' or suddenly becomes 'popular,' what used to be a good team to bet on now becomes a bad one since everyone else is betting on it. The bookies price into the line that everyone now loves the team, and the line gets affected signficiantly.

I feel that a similar story is occuring with Berkshire. People's man crush on Buffet has catapulted the price of the stock, especially last year. The company and its stock price is getting too big for its own good.

Its to darn expensive. I mean, how many shares of this can you really afford? Not Many. He hasn't been doing to well during the recession ether. He still beats the S&P but his shares are going to take a little dip while the bear market lasts. So, I think you should pull your money from him for a little while.

As this option drops, there is small potential forprofitability unless the industry makes a major turn around.

The housing market is going to be under recovery for the next few months. During this time, stable Housing markets would revive the housing business and Berkshire Hathaway Inc has major investments in the Housing business, it would be affected and would be underperforming for some time to come before it is revived. I am going to update this rank in a few months time. I hope to do so by the summer!!

Berkshire has the potential to plummet during the transition of managers. Even if this doesn't happen, whats the upside? a 2-3 point outdual of the S&P, you can't even lock-in that as accuracy points in CAPS. The current score leaders are going short, I'm going w/ them.
