The Bristow Group is the leading provider in helicopter services to worldwide offshore energy companies.

These guys have a pretty enviable competitive position as the biggest player in their space. High economic barriers to entry and there is plenty of investment going on in offshore/deepwater exploration. National Oilwell Varco CEO Pete Miller has even called this "the deepwater century." Bristow's services will be in demand and the stock will win because of it.
Recs
I think its best this way. I hope I can receive money on this.
Recs
Benefitted from the Gulf oil spill as news orgs, government and environmentalists want to monitor and report on offshore oil and gas production with first-hand observation.
Recs
It's P/B is too cheap for such a quality company.
Recs
This service is down due to the bp mess in the gulf but once that situation gets resolved things should pick up and demand for services like this should be on the rise. Just a thought

Grabbing TMF42 coat tail.

hey fellas, i write it up, you look it up because of my caps rating and then pop, i sell it just like autodesk, then i buy it again as it falls.
I love this site.

Over reaction from the market will make strong investors enviable in the future.

A Great Bargain! This stock is oversold! Book Value alone is around $40.44. While to stock is currently at $23.07. With an 11% profit margin and the current ration is 4.28. Which is excellent. Plus the P/E is roughly 6. That being said, as long as their are thousands of oil rigs out in the seas, drilling for black gold, the need workers to run them. Fastest, safest, cheapest way to rotate shifts on these platforms is with a helicopter. Oil companies will not shut down these rigs as long as they are producing a profit, and that start up/shut down cost of a rig is massive.
Recs
Love it!
Recs
high barrier to entry, increasing activity offshore.
Recs
Great bargian ,will always be needed as long as there are offshore rigs.
Recs
oversold fair value $50
Recs
offshore drilling will be an industry on the rise despite opposition. There are too many benefits to it. Not alot of competition in this business. Consistently growing revenue and profits. Strong financialy, at least in the short term. They have alot of debt which will worry me if revenues take a hit for some reason
Recs
there will be a greater demand for offshore drilling. You need helicopters to transport equipment as well as employees to the site. This company should stand to profit.
