Recs
they finally got the merger corrected
Recs
Speculative, they will turn this around or be aquired cheap
Recs
Drowning in debt. High turnover for field employees. CRM division can't release products and continually becomes less competitive in the ICD market decline that they started. Yes, I am biased.
Recs
can only go up
Recs
BSX has finally bottomed out, slow and steady climb back to $30.
Recs
Demographics are on their side. Aging boomers will drive revenue for many years to come. Guidant acquisition gives them great supplier pricing power. Revenue and margins will improve.
Recs
Just bought it
Recs
Too much debt due to Guidant acquisition and slowing CRM market will make this sotck languish for at least next 2 years.
Recs
Soldi product line in a growth field. Beaten down by temporary setbacks. Low current price represents a buying opportunity
Recs
BSX will be doing well in the coming months even with JNJ's suit for 5 Billion which may not be successd in 5 to 10 years. However, Doctors had asked F to remove the "recall" from Guiden's Heart devise and recent FDA approved for BSX other produces which will increase it revenue to offset the lost of purchased Guiden.
Recs
Launch of Harmony, coated stents comeback when re-stenting factored, CRM increases based on obesity-induced arrhythmias
Recs
They've done everything but shoot BSX in the heart and install one of its own stints. It's at it's lowest PE ever and insiders are snatching it up. I say it's a bargain.
Recs
Can it get any worse?
Recs
Too beaten down in a growing mktplaace. It will recover but now no one wants to touch it.
Recs
Value play, out of favor stock and industry. But demographics are on cardiology device manufacturer's side and drug eluting stents are still in their infancy. Rock bottom pricing
Recs
Bought Boston Scientific in Spring 06. Bad move. I thought it was good value, but problems with the Guidant takeover have been compounded by problems with coated stents. Still I'm hanging on for the long term, meaning more than a couple of years.
Recs
The company has strong management and is actively partnering with the FDA. They will be the first and only player in their market that will have the ability to bundle Drug Eluting Stents, Pace Makers and Defibulators. This and a robust pipeline will give them a distinct competative advantage in the long run.
Recs
BSX is a great longstanding company that's poised for a turn around after being downtrodden for so long. Price looks great in my eyes.
Recs
Difficulty swallowing Guidant
Recs
Bsx had a torrid time recently after it had a major recall of heart defibulator equipment supplied by Guident a company which it recently tookover. When Guident is properly bedded in bsx is set to outperform .Fundamentally sound -with plenty of cash in the balance sheet ,this stock is currently at a three year low . A great stock to buy at $16.5.
