Broadwind Energy, Inc. (BWEN)

Good five year investment. I think that if there is any renewable resource that is going to compete with oil it will be wind energy.
Recs
Too few of competions.
Recs
Good growth and earnings.

Market position excellent to ride rebound in demand for wind energy systems -- geographic diversity, talented operating management, strong supply chain reputation, productive work forces.
Recs
American wind power conglomerate. I like their approach of covering all the aspects of supplying wind farm equipment - with separate companies focused on each aspect. Good growth. I see this as somewhat risky, but on a good macro trend line.

THE play on wind energy

This one close down at 4.70 a new 52 week low today .... and this baby isn't making money either..... the wind (price) on this will continue to blow south !

will you look at that growth now

Broadwind is structured for the upcoming 'alternative energy source" boom. They have solid foundations to tackle the upcoming work. Whether Obama makes a big push for wind energy or not, wind is an efficienct renewable energy that has lacked attention for years. Wind is finally getting the attention it deserves and companies involved in it will prosper.

BWEN is in the right place at the right time
Recs
Superior management, perfect positioning to benefit from rational wind policies, strategic locations, key elements of supply chain, ability to integrate supply chain delivery for pricing power, enviable multi-client portfolio, strong capitalization, pure wind play.

Sinking ship.

its below anywhere its ever been due to the economy
Recs
Broadwind is a nothing more than a patchwork of tired, underperforming companies that saw greener grass and a chance to get rich quick. There are simply too many really good companies in and gettiing in the market that can outperform Broadwind when going toe to toe for their 'global' supply chain to make sense. Their only hope is a re-wrack of management particularly at the company level and some serious cost cutting. This is a classic case being good in theory but not so good in application.

No infrastructure- can they produce? Will be scary if Repubs in power = oil oil oil. They will continue to sink for the next 6 months. I think they have great long term future and they are on the right track with their business plan but need to build the infrastructure first- "cart before the horse" syndrome earlier this year. Should have bought early and sold 3 months ago... Then buy now and hold for a year... Rear View mirror outlook, I know, but should do great in the upcoming years.
Recs
Wind Power will take some time to produce and I believe Broadwind Energy is a synergistic marketing approach to building this Alternative Power Source. I just hope the infrastructure can keep up with the growth as that will be key.
Recs
Everywhere you look there are new wind farms being developed and BWEN is positioning itself for long-term success. It may be overvalued when you look at current earnings but I think it will grow well beyond today's price over the next year or two.
Recs
T. Boone Pickens will need Broadwind to make, transport, and maintain his wind towers in Pampa.
Recs
Wind is one of the US's most accessible clean and renewable energy resources. Broadwind has a diversified group of wind power businesses.k The have no earnings but are growing revenue rapidly.
