Thumb downsky!

BW3 has consistently demonstrated superior management from Sally Smith and her executive team. They have offered superior customer experience at their establishments and have consistently found ways to control the costs of their key commodity - wings.

Terrible wings & food.

The New WWW is a diluted, sterilized, and much worse version that the bars/restaurants that started the company. They've lost their soul and soon they will lose their stock value - just a matter of time.
Recs
The restaurant trade is in trouble, but I believe the Buffalo Wings concept will flourish.

Plenty of room to grow with this well managed company. Football season will only add fuel to this rocket taking off. Some of the coldest beer in town with quite a good selection on tap. Very nice variety of flavors for the wings as well. Awesome atmosphere for not just sports fans but families as well. Kids eat free on Wednesdays with plenty of activities for the kids, big or small.

I became immediately impressed with BWLD when their 2008 Q2 report returned profitable amid this slowing economy. I don't know anything about the restaurant business and credit this pick to my friend and fellow CAPS member Alex123Mal. This pick relies completely on his advice. However, I do think this is a good pick due to its exceptional corporate management, cash flow generation, and economic need. Here is Alex123Mal's advice on this stock:
"Buffalo Wild Wings is running! After falling from around $40/share to $20/share over the three month period from October to January, BWLD looked like an obvious long term buy. Today, after reporting earnings and an increase in income of 46%, BWLD jumped 16% to $36/share, and is almost back to its October share price. Although I am questionable about whether or not they will be able to continue to beat earnings in these current economic conditions, I do not doubt that they still have a lot of room to expand across the nation (possibly globally?), and as a long term play, still have a lot of room to grow. They have reasonable food and a great bar atmosphere. The best apart about there bar is that you can smoke in it. I am not much of a smoker but I like having options.

Yes its time to sit down to eat and why not just eat because .some people do just that. because the gas prices is keeping every one home and not out riding.

Weel run , strong management, excellent product

Management seems competent and capable of growing brand effectively and conservatively. BWLD should improve when economy improves.

After traveling to several states and seeing their operations, what is a postive is their locations. All the locations visited are co-located with other consumer retail outlets like grocery stores, theaters, etc, which means the consumer can access their stores without addtional driving. Their proiduct is good and the venue is postioned well between the Hooters and the Mickey Dees of the world. The store managers and store assoicates in all the locations visited were on their game. Best reason yet - is the CEO - Sally Smith and her excellant management team.

This bar/restaurant is pretty lame. No real personality. If you want to go to a bar that serves wings, I'm sure you can find somewhere more interesting to go than this. And I'm sure if you want to buy a stock for a lame restaurant you can find one with a lower PE than this.
Recs
Even with commodities up people will eat out and cheap wings and beer will always be a sure bet. I think we can expect a lot of growth as the economy turns around in 2009.
Recs
Management is executing as planned, there's still lots of room for growth, and they're the first place to go to for the big game.
