I'm afraid city is in bed with the politicians, and we'll have a very slow recovery, I hope I am wrong, heavily invested.

Under valued by market compared to peers. Great franchise working through some short term issues. Pays you while you wait with a 4% dividend yield. Largest shareholder is demanding action to turn business around. Sock away that dividend while you wait.

Bank will do well with chnages and current cash flow to pay TARP. Management is leaner and should start to show a continuing stream of profitable quarters. Although industry is still not well ,C is on the recovery list toward hihs in the 20s

*note, jump back on positive for a big rise after gas/oil drops and consumers start using more credit

The company has had problems with lawsuits in the past couple of years that caused bad publicyas well as charges against earnings. I believe that these problems are mostly solved. The yield curve sould normalize in the next few months and that would be very positive for all financial institutions.

They have written off everything including the sink. The incredibly strong earnings will lift this company to at least 75% of their highs from last year within the next 12 -15 months.

citibank is gonna get whapped, just like a lot of banks, as they recoil from the shock of our aug 17 meltdown. money is cheap now, but banks have it put away. they're sick of losing money on us!

I dont think this company will be taken over by a foreign company, I tyhink we will see a shift since the Bear Stearns incident, the mass public will need to depend more on credit and credit cards and financing. Boosting companys such as this

Citi brings American integrity and innovation to Asia, and its Asian CEO knows that only too well. Look for Citi to fly high as Asia's top bank in all dimensions. Too bad if your eyes and mind are closed. I expect C to be at $7 in a month and $25 in 2 years.
