Their Debt is way too high, plus with the recall extension, current and future litigation expenses as well as the plant being shut down until further notice., as they continue to pay workers.

Con-Agra suffers from the same malady that all food manufacturing companies do - they are very sensitive to fluctuations in raw materials prices. There is a huge movement underway to increase farm profits by reducing available land. This will put pricing pressures far above normal inflation on food producers.

Good brands; new management team from a company that knows how to create coolness in brands; focus on core brands and getting ride of non-strategic businesses; new management invested their own money in the company

Con-Agra who? You may not recognize the name at first blush, but you definitely know their brands: Pam cooking spray, Chef Boyardee, Hunt's ketchup, Banquet frozen dinners, so on and on forth. Been undergoing a majour restructering, divesting non-core assets. Look for this to really take off. (The nice dividend doesn't hurt either.)

Consumer goods company coming out of a rough patch. On a slow trend upwards, but if the rest of the market gets rocky, this might rise along with other consumer goods, though this has more room to grow, imo.
