Many people may not know it but the the copier is the working horse of any size bussiness. No matter how well there built they can't last forever because of moving parts leading to wear and tear, thus regular professional mantainance. Eventually depending on how often they've been used it'll make economic sense to replace copier(s). Imagine a large corporation which has lots of copiers running 24 hours a day?

Canon is the name in quality in middle-end cameras. I have been a lifelong Canon customer, and I know I'm not alone. Japanese business confidence may be at an all time low, but things will change.

Canon is hangin in with the current market and continues to be a strong competitor with HP even though HP's stock is worth much more. I think they slowly start gaining this year.

With more people making the leap from film SLR cameras to digital SLR, Canon has a jump on many competitors by making the lenses interchangeable. Only having to purchase the digital body and using the lenses already owned makes this the camera company to go with.
