Recs
Overextended, near 52 week high, lots of debt, decreasing revenue, increasing dividend, and people will begin to realize they don't like eating in chain restaurants.
Recs
Huge debt has profits on a knife edge.

Downthumb. Good cash flow. Steady earnings growth. Good payout. Poor growth rate. High debt ratio. Low quick and current ratios. High gross margins.

My wife loves Cracker Barrel and I hate it because she always spends money at the store while we are waiting for table. I guess I'll get some shares here in caps before we go to Cracker Barrel again. Thanks
PS They do have great food.

Cannot wait until they move west.

Its weird.!Whenever I pass a Cracker Barrel their parking lots are full (regardless of the time of day) With other companies complaining about lack of customers it seems like Cracker Barrel is doing something right to maintain and expand their customer base.

I really don't understand why this stock has gone up the last 2 months. They have way more debt than cash. They don't even have enough cash to cover their debt coming due this year.

the good place to eat

I am a manager with Cracker Barrel, I started as a server 6 years ago. This company invests a huge amount of training into its people in comparison to other food industry companies I have seen. They care tremendously about their "brand" and quality of product. This is a well run, very structured business...I believe the stock is greatly undervalued currently!

The baby boomers are coming! They are in RVs, cars, and very savvy! They want what they want and aren't afraid to spend to satisfy their desires.
Recs
they always have waiting lines at peak times, super cheap prices and great food. nice store up front to get sales while customers wait to eat. this is a win-win. plus- always situated along major travel routes.
Recs
They have and some problems of late with service and retail sales. 08 will be a make or break year for them i think

hugh buyback of stock and locating into non interstate locations
Recs
Very weak response on earnings, dividend and stock repurchase news. Don't see this one doing well in a recession or economic slowdown.
Recs
Concern over fewer customers due to rising gas prices is over stated. Menu is attractive to large portion of the US. Good solid grower that is well managed. Part retailer, part restuarant. Growth will be average.

I am a employee even though I have been with the company now for only 4 months I can tell I will be there for many years I hope. I love the concept the company is working hard to cut down on the wait times while still providing great customer service. If you are ever in Mobile, Alabama come by we are located right off the Interstate.on I -65

Cracker Barrel remains a top choice for middle America dining. The lines are long waiting on the Old Timers breakfast with sawmill gravy and buttermilk biscuits. How can you lose...
