I agree that CBS is extremely shareholder friendly. The company has been bending over backward to supply shareholders with a nice dividend payout. And I do love dividends.

What was that old kids yarn, something about if it is really brown and mushy? It's like that. Big Media is dead as a reliable market beater. May make money, but as more and more and more competition (iPad anyone?) comes for people's brains, old media takes a dump.

CBS Consumer Products is becoming a major headliner in the licensing world with a broad range of initiatives planned. This, on the surface, bears a striking similarity to the practices that made Marvel and now Hasbro interesting bets.
