regional play. acquisition target

Rock solid regional bank with a 4% yield. Community bank has been in the plain vanilla mortages for years and their lack of taste for adventure has left them in an extemely strong position. Look for them to take over weaker banks or just keep growing their dividend at a rediculous pace. I have not seen any tendacy towards BS stock buybacks, they reward shareholders the old fashioned way, with CASH!! I will purchase when ROTH IRA restrictions allow me and the yield is above 4%.

I like Andrew's logic on CBU.
Recs
financials will continue to do well as the QE2 program is pushed by the Fed. They will be forced to lend the money they have and thus make money.
Recs
If the dividend rate is so low, the stock has to drop dramatically or they have to make a tremendous net income to make the PE good enough to lift the dividend so that the stock price is good - unless I missed something all together
Recs
very low percentage of mortgage foreclosures compared to most big banks and historic banking industry averages
Recs
Conservatively run, no bad loans, high dividend.
