California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations adopted in July 2007. Clean Diesel will be demonstrating three different Level III+ passive particulate reduction solutions that also meet California's objective of reduced oxides of nitrogen (NOx), a smog-forming pollutant. Across California, construction and mining equipment has been estimated to emit 20% of all diesel PM emissions and 15% of all mobile diesel NOx. CARB's new emissions standards apply to most off-road diesel vehicles of 25 hp and greater. Some 35,000 vehicles are expected to be retrofitted or repowered by 2010. After researching the companies on this page of "direct competitors" i don't think they really are doing the same thing.http://finance.yahoo.com/q/co?s=CDTI
