I'm forcasting the numbers regarding America's financial situation to be terrible in the summer. Therefore, I see investors itching to short all sectors duing business in the U.S. domestic market, including Century Aluminum. Century, along with most other heavily domestic dependent stocks will ride the Dow down into the 11,000's this summer.

A play on aluminum. Aluminum prices are going up which should help eps for this company. Glencore, a private equity firm, owns 49% of the company and can take it private mid-2010. I am not sure if that will happen but it should guarantee a nice bump from this price. Even if this does not happen, the company should perform well as the economy improves. Small cap which can provide more price upside than say Alcoa.

Metals and Oil are in the cellar. Anybody that has the time not to short, has a huge opportunity here. Oil and Metal WILL be back. It's just a matter of waiting. Do you honoestly think oil and metel will NEVER be priced right again. ATPG for oil CENX for metal, sit and wait.

As the global construction markets come back online (especially in the emerging market countries) demand for aluminum will follow suite. Aluminum is also finding its way into construction and manufacturing projects in increasing amounts and that will also help boost the financial strength of this commodity.
