Brink's Home Security Holdings (CFL)
Recs
Useless. You simply don't get much for $30 per month. If you alarm goes off, they'll try to call you. If they can't get you, they'll call the cops. WTF good does that do you?
They also won't let you quit the service very easily. You have to sign a three-year agreement, but then if you don't opt out in a certain specific time period, you'll get renewed for another three years. And if you move, you have to get the service in your new home (and pay for the equipment to be installed) or you have to continue paying for the three years.
It's simply a horrible company. Don't sign up for the service and don't buy the stock.

I think that this stock is not a huge winner, I think the fair value is about $31 based on my calculations, so I would wait to buy it until it is $20 or lower.

Best positioned for coming recession.

Brink’s Home Security is a spin-off of Brinks despite cyclical nature due to housing expect this one to fly in years to come. Expect a lot of free cash-flow to be generate in future. Installation fee for hardware and monthly fee for service should generate excess cash much like utility company without high cost structure.
