I don't see the earnings growth to justify the valuation. This isn't just about oil, the underlying issues in the Texas economy remain. Median wages in Texas still run under the US average. Also while I hate to question McGarrah Jessie who has been Frost's ad agency for 15 years, I think the ad appeals to old school Texas but not exactly new demographic groups who will have the purchasing power in the future. It's only about 5.5% of the banking market that's up for grabs on primary accounts, about half of those are serial switchers, once people have a bank they tend to stick with it. While Frost has done well taking some business from older banks I don't think they are well positioned to move on newer demographics and will likely underperform the S&P from this price point forward.

It is presently undervalued due to over reaction to depressed oil price.
