cfr was like Cons Federal Register. It is a wealth canter bank in San Antonio. Good 3% yield. Lots of free funds. As rate go up they will have a nice jump in earnings.

Texas has not felt the effects of the economic downturn like California, Nevada, Florida and Arizona and that is why all Texas regional banks are a great buy. CFR is well capitalized with little to no subprime exposure. Great management team and board of directors.

Along with BOH and a few other regionals, I'm high on CF. Very good debt, well positioned, nice yield, good P/E. The stronger regional banks should be among the first companies to perform well, before the general economy picks up. CFR will be able to tap the cheap fed dollars and lend them at, naming their return . . . 7,8,9,10% . . . whatever.
CFR is positioned to kill it.
