A recessions a coming this summer and high oil prices are not going away since the falling dollar is to blame, and continued inflation is not going to bring the value of the dollar up any time soon. Burnanke was not helping this country by bailing out the crust of American society. Also, Bush's stimulus package didn't help the upward inflationary pressure that is killing this countries middle class. Sorry about my rant but anyway my point is to sell trucking since rail is about to take over from the high price of fuel.

Sometimes its more simple and others. Increasing EPS and a correction in '07 makes this a steal.

Quite of an undervalued stock. Price may tremble due to oil price instability, but on the general the company is very investment-attractive (at least the policy of 'no intermediate stops' seems quite persuasive, add good PEG and nice growth rates to that).

I wouldn't recommend hunting for a long-term though and take a look at what'd be with oil prices and transport industry as a whole in a year or so.

Founder still involved and invested, tends to exceed earnings expectations, virtually no debt. Drivers are hard to find, Celadon finds them and keeps them (low turnover). A recent acquisition brought in more drivers. Management is not stupid - acquisition at the beginning of a quarter so there'll be time to digest it before the next earnings report. Small enough to fly under the radar most of the time, but quality will eventually be recognized.

Indianapolis based trucking company. One of those Lynch picks, which is to say pick local companies you know because that's what people like Mr. Lynch got paid big bucks to do and an advantage average Ryan's have over the big dogs. Although Mr. Lynch might not have put it that way exactly.
