The only thing holding Chesapeake and other nat gas stocks back is the republican filibuster of the Nat gas/Clean energy bill led by Mitch "I love Kentucky Coal" McConnell. With or without the bill, Nat gas is going to grow dramatically in the future. Oil is going up, Nat gas as a vehicle fuel costs less than half the cost of gasoline. Long haul truckers and large fleet userscan convert to CNG and pay back their investment in a short time, plus Nat Gas burns so much cleaner, it's the most envoronmentally friendly fossil fuel by far. It's 100 percent domestically produced, which makes the country stronger both economically and from a National Security standpoint. it's a no brainer.

Gvien domestic energy demand this stock will eventually rise. I also like that they are expanding into oil which could be a double boon since oil WILL be in demand and I think nat gas will eventually be a big part of our energy supply

Stock coming out of a bottom here along with natural gas prices, Production has be held back by many producers on nat gas. A lot of proven reserves and investors buying in now including foreign investors like the Chinese. M&A is climbing fast for Nat Gas producers should help bring good value to those investing in companies like CHK for the long term.
