Solid retailer which targets a lucrative demographic. Increasing competition may hinder growth, but recent price decline offers reasonable entry into this established retailer.

This one after years of success is now passing through a bad time. So now I am picking it as a Turna-around story with good chance and a possible great reward . It has some risk, but I think the reward is worth it . Sorry for my bad english

Chico's was a great growth company ... and now it's a great value, with a PEG of just 1.

lost more than 50% in MC, strong brand and short term hickups. Extremely high ROC on every store. WHBM, SOMA and Fitigues will become stronger performers and reinvigorate earning growth.
Potential to expand current stores and generate extra earnings at lower CAP EX.

Core strength - dominates underserved market ( woman ovrr 35). Close to the customer and operationally very stong.
Risk - Weakness in the retail market, but I would think women earning $70K and over should be quite resilient.

Opening many stores in malls. Has high quality products at prices currently acceptable.

White House Black Market store driving growth and expansion

Should be a no-brainer. I'm married to a 50 something mother of two with lots of energy and style. She's discovered Chico's and looks great. More importantly, she is a satisfied repeat costomer. This one has staying power aas long as they can keep pace with late midle age female tastes which do not change abruptly

A great company that is simply being beaten down by irrational fears of a slowing retail sector.

Chico's the company is still performing well and has plenty of potential for continued growth. Balance sheet is very nice and I have appreciated some of the candor shown by management in past conference calls. I highly doubt I'm picking a bottom here, but feel pretty confident that 5 years from now I'll have at least a satisfactory return.

This stock took too big a hit. It's astronomical growth is now simply growth that will focus on it's new labels, and less on the flagship brand. Will be subject to retail moves, though.

Excellent retailer whose stock has taken a beating. Plus my wife, who is a fashion hound, loves both Chicos flagship stores and their newer White House/Black Market chain (and I never bet against what my wife's spending can do for a retailer).
