Don't understand this stock. IMO this company has too much debt and continues to be unprofitable. Not sure what Buffet or other investors are thinking. The Kicker is the stock acts as though it has a protective moat that is impenetrable. For those people I offer two words, Google Fiber.

Quoting Liberty Media SEC filing: "In April 2014, Charter announced it had reached a series of agreements with Comcast through which: (1) Charter will acquire cable systems serving approximately 1.5 million existing Time Warner Cable residential and commercial video subscribers for approximately $7.8 billion; (2) Charter and Comcast will execute a tax-efficient asset transfer of cable systems serving approximately 1.5 - 1.6 million residential and commercial video subscribers; and (3) Comcast will spin-off cable systems that serve approximately 2.5 million residential and commercial video subscribers into a new publicly traded entity. Charter will own a 33% stake in the new entity and provide it ongoing management services. In aggregate, these transactions would make Charter the second-largest cable company in the U.S., owning or managing cable systems serving 8.3 million residential and commercial video subscribers."

This company seems to me very overvalued. It's price/book is sky high and has been increasing. It's forward P/E is very high as well. It has massive debt/share and is currently losing money.

On top of that wired phone is nearly dead and the monopoly on TV service delivery will die to internet based services. That leaves them with high speed internet, but there's mounting pressure on that too from nonwired sources.
