It looks like the divy is solid for this year, giving this a 17% return without capital appreciation.

Once the economy picks back up commercial and residential real estate will follow. We will not see this until the banks are in better shape following with the rise in oil prices. Meanwhile I will sit and wait reinvesting my heavy dividend over the next couple of years till this baby blossoms.

Might be one of my more speculative bets in awhile, but hopefully the dividend and upside potential will pay rewards in the end. I do love the insider trading and dividend, mortgage backed securities are not exactly the hot item, but what better time to get in!

Toxic assets, anyone? This company invests in mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and passes virtually all its earnings on to you, the shareholder. With a current dividend yield of 17%--ok, that has to be an anomaly, but still--it looks well-poised to offer a pretty good return.

You have to give some credit to a management team that was highly leveraged into sub-prime mortgages and still managed to survive the last two years and pay down debt. They say they're into the higher quality stuff now so the risk ought to be somewhat reduced.

I suppose the main reason this stock is cheap! cheap! cheap! is that nobody wants to go anywhere near RMBS right now--which makes it an intriguing opportunity. Management seems to agree, as there has been a lot of insider buying. Put on your seatbelts: This could go anywhere, but I'm betting it goes up.

Great stock to hold for the dividends and long term being that the housing market has no where to go but up at this point! Look at this stock since its conception, it could easily get back up into the $15.00 range once the housing market stablilizes within the next 5 years. With quarterly dividned payouts reaching .10 -.26 a share how can you beat it?! Just look at how much of this stock executives within the company have been buying the last 6 months, not to mention big players such as Wells Fargo, Vanguard, and many, many others! Get it, BULL right hear!

This longshot is undervalued, even if it didn't pay a regular high quarterly div . Short term could get more undervalued. Long term, easily outperforms from $2 or $3 level. Paying regular quarterly div. of 0.12 to 0.17 a share, not 68cent,like others said, but high none the less . CEO and other Insiders along with Allianz, Wells Fargo, Vanguard, Kaufmann have been grabbing shares up to 12/31/2009 which is what started me looking further.Looks much different from others in the sector. Net Profit margins better than 100% ROE 25% Forward P/E around 4.50 Should get plenty of interest when the wakeup call gets yield players pulling their money out of worthless CD's and Bonds that held their money level while they figure out where to put it. Looks live in the post parade and tickets almost getting low enough for this old gator. One to watch

Consistently handing out huge dividends because they are making more money than expected, as usual. Plenty of cash making more investments every quarter. This ex-dividend date sell-off is great because this is the day that i wanted to buy this stock anyways to keep for the future. But too bad this won't post til tomorrow when the price might not be the same
