"Who roots for the cable company?"

Well said. Therefore, I will enter in an outperform on this stock. Like it or not, Comcast is here to stay. Better that your portfolio benefits from it, if not your sanity. Plus, it's pretty cheap on valuation right now.

The spinning bars on computers are programming people to make poor Internet decisions, which might cause movements in stock markets like a fake attack on the White House, as a joke against humanity using scripts such as Java and loading progress bars. Additionally, the AI will likely make people mentally sick like the Nazi party did to the Allies in Germany in the 1940s. A class action lawsuit could and should be filed to stop the spinning and progress bars on computers before WW3 redefines the boundaries of the world as a result of poor AI acceptance. Noteworthy, a hide the script button could be used to hide the scripts, which would allow the loading bars to properly work in the background without the demon like spin. Movies are great, but weak programming is a virus that must be stopped at all cost. All companies that allow spinning AI to exist in computers as an invasion of privacy should and will likely be bankrupt in the future. Comcast for failing to product the users of your system, under perform for life with or without the hackers, CIA, FBI and other governments in the world taking control of your network as a joke to make people sick. Noteworthy, the phone support as Comcast has improved during the past decade regardless of the loss of braincells that have been destroyed world wide from the creation of the AI nation.

For allegedly allowing the governments of the world to illegally spy on its citizens through cable and phone lines like a sick Skinner box trick, Comcast, underperform for the life of your enterprise. I would have given this equity a green thumb, however, the Disney merger did not go through a few years past so Comcast ended up being stuck with a duel service offering of movies with Netflix. Enjoy the show, Hope your films outlive us all so that the next alien being that finds your server will be entertained forever on his or her own private planet.

This enterprise should have bought out DIS a long time ago. For allying AAPL products to spin to make people sick, underperform for life or until NFLX puts you out of business with crappy films. If you want to know all about locations for wars, just ask me in person and I will ship one to you.

Right now Comcast is the 3rd Largest Provider of internet in the world and the largest in the United States. As the number of devices connecting to the internet increases exponentially over the next 5 years, we expect Comcast's revenues to grow at a rate that far exceeds the 4-5% analyst estimates. We expect the revenues to surprise again as they did last quarter.

The higher margin plans that have higher speeds will become more sought after as 4k tv streaming becomes a reality. I don't have many qualms with the company (so far) as a customer, and I hope to keep my payment low in the future as they are known for giving pretty good resubscription deals. Only time will tell.

I just simply hate this company. Their motto: Over promise, under deliver. And then f**k the customer. Just a terrible company.

I have a strong distaste for cable companies such as Comcast, because I think they abuse their near-monopolistic nature. I'm a cable cord cutter.

But they certainly know how to use their position to drive earnings.

Time warner acquisition should close soon,
management should continue with stock buy back plan,
NFLX deal should prove beneficial on the margin
Stock sold off and hit good support

Stock should stabilize around $48-$50 and move back up

Bought half position out of the money leap call options

Dividends500 tracks the 200 strongest dividends in the S&P 500. To qualify as a strong dividend, the company must meet two simple requirements:

- A payout ratio below 50%
- An increasing dividend from the prior year

Because there are more than 200 dividend paying companies in the S&P 500 that meet these requirements, the qualifying companies with the largest dividend yields were chosen.

Dividends500 intends to test this FactSet article, which highlights these strong dividend paying companies and their outperformance versus the S&P 500 as a whole (Page 12).

I have watched this ticker for years. I used to be a Comcast customer when I lived on the west coast, which is why I always tagged them for underperform, but they make smart acquisitions and continue to grow. If you can't red thumb them, join them.

Shortly google will begin providing the same service to rural citizens and urban. Google's service will be higher quality, faster, more stable, and the big one: will provide better customer support.

Charter and Comcast will be near obsoloete within 5 years.
