Missed a street estimate by a $0.01 and down 20%. Bargan basement time!!! Still growing in a bad climate. Wait until the economy starts to show strong growth and wow.

Right now (early '07), this is still trading below CMG. The B shares are the McD spinoff, which are identical to A shares, but with 10 x the A shares voting rights. Shorts and options already in play on A shares are propping that price up right now, but the B shares are superior, and the market will eventually correct that inefficiency. If you believe in CMG as a long-term growth story, the B shares are the ones to have as long as they're trading below A.

I had never heard of this place until I travelled to the DC area. And know when I talk to folks back home, they are excited about this new place called, Chipotle, opening up. This company is growing and it is growing fast.

The Class B shares have 10 times the voting power as the class A, and currently trade at a lower P/E because of the recent spinoff from McDonalds. I think there is room for definate price appreciation, and that these shares, because of their voting strength will trade at a premium to the Class A shares.

Also, Chipotle is moving into nationwide expansion mode, so i definately believe there is significant upside on this stock in the future.

Tremendous growth potential and underserved geographic areas. Mc Donald's management team and a spin off from Mc Donald's. Forward thinking business model with naturally raised meat, which will capture growing organic consumer market while providing generous portions at reasonable prices. Potential to be a large scale franchise. Compete in "fast casual" - fastest growing segment of the restaurant industry. Eat at this place -love it!

Up and down the East Coast, I've been seeing these everywhere. Contrary to the other taco guys (Qdoba, California Tortilla, etc.), they always have customers. Price was cheaper than Qdoba too, last time I went.

Being a good investor can be like being a good poker player. Knowing the cards held by a player before the hand is shown is an obvious advantage and will yield consistant winnings (high returns). This is my thing with Chipotle. This is the one stock out of all stocks that I have followed that I truly believe can yield Starbux like returns. After reading their earnings release 30 minutes ago I had to smile. The stock is trading at a high P/E ratio for a reason. Even the PEG is high, but the intrisnic PEG is actually low if they continue to beat estimates the way I believe they will. Read my post on the A shares. I own B, and kind of wish I owned the A shares as well. I know these cards by watching there business model. When the hand is shown every quarter it will be better than everyone else's at the table.

Well, overall quality is not as fresh as they claim. Too many pople selling good burrito at better price. Just based on service and food, this will not fly.

Mgm't seems to be doing a good job of managing the growth of new locations; the balance sheet is very strong with almost no debt; low costs associated with opening new stores leads to quick payback.

Great management, great food, great customer experience, effecient, lots of cash little debt, expansion, expansion, expansion, and on top of all this the B shares are trading under the A shares and have 10times the voting rights. I expect great things from this company plus jim cramer, fast money and hidden gems all like it IT a strong buy or as cramer would say BUY BUY BUY

See explanation under CMG. This is just a way to double-down on my CAPS bet. I'm assuming that over the long haul the shares will appreciate at roughly the same rate, since they both represent equivalent stakes in the company (voting rights schmoting rights, do small investors ever vote on anything?).

I like the food - and would go out of my way to get it. They sell relatively natural meat, and recycled napkins, which appeals to their eco-conscious younger clientele. Stores near colleges do absolutely great. It's not really fast food - if you eat it in the car you will have a lapfull of mess. But it is cheap eating out. And right now it has been killed so the valuation is finally reasonable.

The simplicity of their menu provides them with ideal inventory carrying strategies, as well as the ability to very easily cross-train employees.

In almost every city where I've seen them, they do tremendous transaction volume.

As long as they avoid some sort of E. Coli scare, then I think that Chipotle's future is hot, financially speaking.

If you've eaten here, you know that the concept is simple and reproducible and the food is delicious. Per the Fool, the financials are solid. I don't really see how this company doesn't outperform the market.

Regardless of how the market does, I eat at Chipotle three times a month. What's not to love? It's yummy and socially conscious.

Great growing brand following in the McDonalds tradition for this generation that just got a big haircut. Managment has the long term in mind.
