new truck demand and heavey equipe demand is putting diesel engine needs to the max. new emissions standards call for cleaner running engines.last year was the final year under the old standards.which cause a rush to get that remaining inventory.now as new equipement manufactures which over to new emission engine the demand will start to build again.under the new standards some engine mover hauls will require new engine change outs.

Great growth over last several years with nice balance sheets.
They have been steadily reducing debt which is nice to see in such a large cap company.
Look for Cummings to keep "chugging" along just like their great diesel engines do.

Cummins is seriously working the clean air play. It's part of a consortium working on diesel truck idling pollution problems. It's name recognition in both on- and off-road diesel will allow it to spread technology to a skeptical and independent user audience. It's size and name recognition for small engines will get the attention of non-heavy equipment folks.
