Salt makes a lot of things taste yummy. Mmmm.

CMP has backed off its high of $76 and hopefully this will prove to be a good entry point. Salt is useful and cheap, which makes finding a viable alternative difficult, should one want to do so.

Perhaps the least known Potash supplier, Compass Minerals stands to benefit from the recent increase on the price of sulfate of Potash. Though they had long-term contracts at lower prices, those contracts expire this year and Compass will have robust (read huge) earnings going forward.
