Coach, Inc. (NYSE:COH)

ok -- the fashionista strikes again.
These bags are cute... yes.
But these are timeless styles - a coach bag beats all trends.
And since there seems to be no strong bag trend right now that i've seen.... other than bigger beach bags... looks like the classic coach will continue to dominate.

Strong sales in Polo overseas also bode well for the coach brand. Foreign customers who cannot get coach in their native countries will snatch snatch snatch them up in the US over the summer.

Saw a preview of the newest pattern and it is cute... and BLUE. Coach has not done a strong navy presence in quite some time ----go ahead, just try to find a navy belt out there in retail land.

I just hope they do a navy belt as part of the new collection.

The signature scarves are super nice add on to the classic bag.... let me just tell ya...
I need to win the $15k prize more than anyone I would bet and yet.... silly me, bought a coach scarf just last month.... and honey, if that dang coupon I had burning a hole in my handbag hadn't expired yesterday before I had a chance to get to the mall, you know I would have had one more....

Thank goodness the Lord watches over silly shoppers like me with no CASH!

38.7% ROIC for past 5 years, strong growth in equity, sales, EPS, etc. This company is a winner. Cheap now, too, because investors are overly pessimistic about luxury goods in this beaten down economy.

Maybe for Christmas but not right now. Gas is high people are scared to spend anything. Time to stop buying overpriced gear.

Strong brand.......heck, my girlfriend just replaced one (had for 9 years) and bought TWO newer ones, which she gets compliments on all the time :)

COH is undervalued and provides a margin of safety greater than 50% based on its current fair market value.

This is a strong company, so it's a good buy for the future. Good for long-term investment....

Higher demand for luxury items.

This well established handbag company will continue to have good sales as they have a product that is known worldwide and can be purchased by enough people to support the business. New management will help also.

Luxury retail brands will experience expanded growth in foreign markets like China over the next couple of years. Coach is best armed to take advantage.

Women always buy handbags. Even in a recession-they buy a smaller bag.

good products ,well known brand

retail will remain poor until the fed tightens. that will translate into a local peak in oil, will curtail gas prices, and will finally bring some life back into retail.

I'm thinking that once the recession ends, stocks like Coach are going to have a lot of headroom. Coach in particular has a great management team so take advantage of this dip in price.

Great management (One of Barron's top rated). Opening stores in newly affluent China. Strong and loyal customer base. Retail market segment still very strong.

Great product with strong branding. You can't argue with the fact that women love their bags and spend plenty to get them. It's all about image, and regardless of economy, American's care about image. Coach won't be hurting for long.

These handbags and accessories seem to sell no matter what. Quality products. I see it as a shining star in retail right now. Good time to buy.
