My CAPS score is taking a beating on this one, but what the system doesn't know is that I bought these shares back in the late 90's. So in reality, I'm up about 300% on them (and actually sold 1/2 my holdings at the telecom bubble high, for ~1,000%, in a move that allowed me to go zero debt).
COHR is the biggest and best at what they do. They're up against competition that will slash prices to the bone, but that's why they make zero margins while COHR's are pretty decent (considering I'm sure they often have to deep discount, to hold market share in some areas).

Admittedly, I don't know much about the company. I'm bearish mainly due to pessimism that they won't grow sales and generate profits to maintain that 100+ P/E ratio.
