Good reports, way more upside than downside

Have been watching this stock die for the past five years. Believe it's still on the downward trend. Finally sold all of my stock. My biggest loser to date.
Recs
Another company promoting energy efficiency, great growth potential, currently way under-valued.
Recs
Could rock from these levels.

low price growth

Play on the energy efficiency trends. Small company with a working product to improve energy grid efficiency. They have quiet large client network and good product line. They should benefit from the stimulus program for the smart electrical grids over next couple of years. They are small enough to benefit hugely if successful at new contract bidding.

COMV- Comverge. Ever wanted to sell energy back to your electric company? Stick with COMV! This the only consumer based smart grid idea that I could see working since no matter what type of alt energy becomes popular- you will need COMV. Better yet, they even have a technology that actually works at this moment in time unlike most smart grid companies. Although COMV needs to become profitable for you to have equity in 5 years, it is a new company with ridiculous potential. And they are coming closer to profit....I could see their products becoming a standard in many hippe (CA) areas

Tm Healy, ENERNOC Chairman's Annual shareholder letter makes interesting reading. It gives a very good idea where the demand response industry is headed in the next decade.
"The easiest way to describe the smart grid is to compare the smart grid to the internet. The internet can be described as having two layers: an infrastructure layer and an application layer. The infrastructure layer consists of routers, switches, servers etc. The application layer overrides the infrastructure to unlock the value of the internet for its users. ( think Amazon, eBay, Salesforce.com )
Similarly the smart grid will have the infrastructure layer and the application layer, comprising a range of technologies, including advanced transmission and distribution hardware, advanced metering infrastructure, and perhaps altogether new networks and protocols. The infrastructure itself, however, will not be inherently intelligent - it only has the potential to be. The grid will become "smart" when the technological capabilities of the infrastructure and the data it generates are leveraged to create new applications that increase energy productivity.
Just as the internet infrastructure improved to allow for more robust data and content delivery, new application providers emerged, but the early leaders that invested in their application grew their oganizations to become some of the economy's largest and most respected household names. We believe that smart grid is poised to experience the same cycle of innovation "
General Electric having a stake in Comverge and insiders buying, this is a 10 bagger or more.

smart grid. looks good

obama has clearly stated his infrastructure build out plan and an improved energy grid is a large part of that. comverge, though a small company, has a product that enables different devices to communicate and make the grid run more smoothly.
Recs
Struggling.
Recs
Way oversold. Leading company in emerging industry which is largely meeting targets though profits as yet elusive. Questions about the quality of the management team, but at this price its worth the gamble.
Recs
At this price It is a good time to step in. Just a gut feeling. No numerical research behind this.

Metering and better transmission capability is a topic that is not fully addressed. ajm101 and I were having a discussion about site or proximity located fuel cell / turbine generators, which is a great idea and will address part of the problem. There will always be large power plants though, whether nat gas, coal or renewable (prefereably all renewable in the future) and the transmission losses are key here. There is transmission efficiency, metering and power direction as ways to make the current system, and Comverge is a great play on the metering and direction aspect.
