Upthumb. Cash flow is not great compared to peers. But margins good and debt ratio is low. Continues to grow at 10% clip after 17% cap spending rate. Long-term winner.

I decided to create a portfolio with only products or services that I use without regard to price/value in order to compare with my own personal port

The action in profits will increase customer loyalty and will increase market share. This is a well run organization and I believe they know what they are doing. Look out SAM's.

Wall Street will be hard on retail in the upcoming holiday spending season. With this economy, blue collars will not be spending.

Good stuff at lower prices, including gasoline now. Stores are always full, parking is always difficult. Compare to Sam's Club where the parking lots are empty, and the lines at the registers are very short. Costco is raking in the customers in droves. I expect them to recover from their misstep earlier this year.

Costco has developed a business model that is outstanding and is utilizing its member base to finance its ability to roll product and create an attractive cash flow.. They keep the product fresh and ever changing. They have a lot more room to grow.

Costco will continue to pull more business in due to their business plan. If they don't/can't sell something, it goes back to the manuafacturer. That means their cost is contained. Go into a Costco, and there are lines all the time. People use this store more and more.

I love this store! I go once a month and have bought the full range of products. I trust their Kirkland brand to be high quality. Generic brands normally scare me, but Kirkland is the exception. I have bought appliances, tires, furniture, jewelry, computers, gas and the normal household goods. I can not think of a bad experience with their products. Also, I feel good as a customer that they treat their employees well. Where else can you buy $11 worth of TP and a $2,000 flat screen TV in one stop?

Invest in what you know and understand why they are successful.

A great value, was beaten down unfairly by bad Wal-Mart earnings! This is a great stock, but getting in on the dip is very helpful.

Costco's business formula is outstanding and this company is really the only competition for Walmart.

Not particularly a wholesale price for this stock right now, but, I got a great treadmill from there a few years ago, and it's holding up great!

I like this stock because we Americans like big stuff. Costco delivers big stuff at prices that are family friendly.
