Considering Book value, earnings, and market cap...this should beat the market in 5 years.

Currently at one of it's lowest points ever, CPI, Inc. will be able to rebound with the continuation of both the war and the government split on national defense. Electronics that deal with any type of communication or medical frequency/transmittal do well over time. As the S&P drops, the gap will close, allowing CPI to improve less to outperform. When CPI improves, it improves big and fast. Expect that within 1-2 years overall.

Not to sure about this one... communication is of course needed, but might take a hit when new President comes in.. on the fence but think it might go up over the near future.

CPI International looks like a solid company with some very good prospects for growth. They sell all kinds of various products that can be utilized in all sorts of growing industries. Some of the components in their portfolio are distributed to businesses for a wide aray of applications such as medical, satellite communications, electronics, industrial, and other scientific markets.

CPi has a market cap of a little over $300 million and a multiple in the mid teens, as I write this pitch. This company has a lot potential room to grow.

With inside ownership of over 50%, this looks like a company for the retirement portfolio.

Amazing array of ultra high-tech products in an extremely in-demand and specialized industry. Plenty of room for growth from high demand for their research and products. On top of the commercial and industrial demand, they are will gain a lot from future government and military contracts. They have relatively little competition for most of their products. On top of that, the P/E looks great, and they only stand to make more revenue this year and for the next few years. Definitely buy now while price is low. It's on the up-swing and won't get any cheaper aside from occasional profit-taking dips from the shorties.

Stats:

• First quarter sales up 2% from 2006
• Sales in their medical market up 30% from 2006
• Communications market decreases of 13% offset by increases in industrial and scientific markets of 14% and 23%
• EPS more than doubled from $.15 in 2006 to $.33 in 2007 first quarter

This stock is going to keep jumping up with every earnings statement. Just watch!
