Hate to bet against a Fool pick, 5 star but it's too pricy now (up

40% in last few months). P/e is 25, revenue growth is low and slowing (12% 3 years ago, now 6%). Earnings growth can't be

far behind.

Could be there's something I don't know.

As the financial focus shifts along the lending side of these businesses, a stronger awareness towards loss mitigation is also likely to occur. This is the exact niche in which Copart exists. Not only are they able to dispose of whole vehicles via their live auction events, but their proprietary "V2B" internet platform allows additional capibilities for disposing of, and/or parting-out salvage pieces on a world-wide scale. Naturally, well off its yearly high of $49, yet even as the DOW has crashed through the floor, CPRT's % loss is comparatively minimal. Copart may be boring, but it is good financials. I have corresponded with Tom over the years and believe him to be a prudent investor. As I wait at the stoplight, I get to count the cars. What began as 1 car parked out front has become a steady flow of vehicles of all sorts moving through the lots. I see more employees and the steady flow of increased new products. We can't finance new, let's fix up our used. Strong business model for the current economy.
