Aside from the "Green" angle, the new product, the New York order..... This is an international company. It is near profitability. If it's profit statment goes green this year, this stock is headed for big growth.

Plasma Gasification of waste is here with economic reality...cpst will win power deals for onsite process of gas among other uses of their turbines. You might say there is a reason CPST is at an all time low...you also might say there is a reason CPST is still worth north of 200 mil...

Growing sales, growing demand, and solid new product stream.

Should watch this as hybrid technology use increases. Needs higher rev. and earnings. Interesting Jan. calls.

Both Lazard Capital Markets and John C. Ogg are calling for this stock to surge past $2.50 this year.

Many deals forthcoming. This company is right in line with all the recent "Green" rules and bills passed. They even assisted NYC in drawing up their rule on Microturbines in Mid-December. Look for NYC to strike a deal with Capstone and other cities in both the U.S. and the rest of the world to follow

The next revolution in energy will come from biomass based resources. Ethanol is what most people think of when they think biomass energy, but there are two very important other fuels: biogas (CH4+CO2) and producer gas (CO, H2, etc). These fuels can be produced at the community and "district" scale from ag waste, municipal urban waste, and so on -- and there are literally hundreds of thousands of sites around the world where small decentralized units of energy production from biomass can be commercialized.
Capstone is extremely well poised to be the leading technology driver for this revolution because of its scale, modularity, and proven reliability over the years.

There are several reasons why I really like this stock..
1) the company is selling more units and is diversifying their customer base at the same time. Their largest customer only accounted for 31% of their sales thus far in FY07 vs 45% of sales in FY06.
2) management is being compensated through serious stock options - giving them a huge incentive to get the stock price up.
3) the company is focusing on developing vertical markets - means additional revenue streams
4) Capstone has been expanding their sales presence in the US and Europe by opening offices in New York and Milan
5) best of all, the company's primary risk to their business is the loss of key management and employees! Why is this good you ask? You wouldn't leave a company that was primarily paying you with stock would you? I know I would stay and do everything I could to get the stock price up before I cashed out!

CPST is on the edge of technology today that will be common place tomorrow as the USA will need to generate power more efficiently and remotely. Their micr-turbine applications can also be used to vastly increase cycle efficiencies by adapting to tri-cycles.

Sure, wind may have more of a future than fuel cells or corn ethanol, but that doesn't mean companies like this one can't struggle. The company has had to sell millions of dollars worth of stock to keep its head above water, and I don't like to see this in an overhyped, overvalued industry. The company is losing money left and right, despite revenue being up more than 70%. There isn't much of a future for CPST.
