Once that reality sinks in, infrastructure will creep in to alter the equation, fomenting a network effect to boost acceptance and prices. Any small percent of that action is worth something...

Anxiously awaiting a plug-in, hybrid electric/natural gas automobile to keep the auto-culture alive for another generation.

The only licensed natural gas exporter in the US. At least 10 other companies are trying to get licenses, indicating the demand growth and desire to export natural gas to other countries who are willing to pay a premium on the commodity.

this is a long term play .. The rest of the world seems to value NG much more than we do here. .. the issue is exporting it to other places that are more willing to pay the price. This is one of the few places that are building the infrastructure to do just that .. I understand that they aren't planning to show profits until 2015, but the best investments are frequently the ones that you have to hold your nose to make.. strong dividend even though it exceeds earnings and cashflow by a fairly wide margin. First movers in any market have a distinct advantage over the rest... I guess we will see just how effective they are over the next few years

- The arab spring is more or less coming to an end or stabilize. Nothing US can do about Syria, and syria is not libya, it has a formidable army
- Iran's oil sanctions has already been priced in.
- The crisis in europe and china's coming crash is going to see oil and natgas bottoming together.
- Shale revolution has been overhyped by both obama and the media for US energy independence.
- And all these shale gas companies pouring investments into shale gas with natgas projected and planned at a $6-7 are going to get hit hard when natgas stays around the $2-3 range
- Excessive production of natgas due to increased shale gas production
- Shale gas, the 2 words that terrifies OPEC. OPEC has been increasing upstream production to bring oil prices down to end the shale revolution.

This is a very interesting play on LNG. A little too speculative for me right now, but worth keeping an eye on. My concerns are the following: debt, expensive financing, losses until at least 2015 and paying a distribution that exceeds profits.

Wow. I made the call, but I didn't make a purchase. Normally I put my money where my mouth is, but didn't have any dry powder to work with. Now I feel dumb, considering how well CQP's performed in the last 2 weeks. Oh, well, live and learn... :-)

I am beginning to invest in natural gas as the price of crude oil continues to rise. This would be a logical shift because natural gas is much cheaper and also green, which is a movement most countries are trying to make. Cheniere would specialize in a liquid form of natural gas that and could be one of the first pioneers if a large movement toward natural gas should occur.
