Nice but not nice enough. Company is where it can get to - fad will wear off and there will be a downside

cheap for a growth stock, slowing domestic sales but large potential international growth

Too high of a P/E once the hype starts leaving. I don't think these have the staying power to go mainstream. If true, this should see a 50% drop over 2-5 years

Short interest almost 40% of the float according to Seeking Alpha article on June 5, 2008 "Most and Least Shorted Stocks in the Russell 1,000" Good news could send this through the roof because of short covering. Outperform.

People will wake up and realize how ugly the these shoes are. They are clogs with holes. They will go the way of the jelly strap sandals.

It's prolly too early to crow - but who was the Fool who wanted to short this stock, right before its 20% gain. The shoes are versatile, comfortable, fun - yeah people need less of that in their lives. I do beleive that they will develop a hiking boot, work boots, winter boots, athletic shoes etc. Licensing with Disney and college teams is not stupid also. I see solid growth for a long time.

This is essentially a re-rec for me. Even if their product is a fad, it appears to still be in a growth phase and hopefully some of the new shoe styles they've created will continue to be comfortable without being so horrifically ugly.

Either way, they've got a long term market for kid's shoes (cheap, simple and colorful).

Fad, ugly, whatever you want to call them, CROCS make VERY comfortable shoes. Ask a doctor or nurse (or anyone who's on their feet for long periods of time) how comfortable they are.

The price is extremely attractive and should slowly climb for here on. This stock has been beaten to death by shorts who will have to cover eventually. The question is, how much is this stock TRULY worth? Obviously not $75, but not $10 either. My guess is probably the low-mid 30s. The only concern I have is the health of the average consumer with disposable income disappearing before our very eyes. But, never underestimate what American's do best...SPEND!

Have you looked around. Seven of my sixteen grandchildren were here for the weekend and six were wearing crocs. Several of their parents also had them including my wife. They are in fashion, comfortable, and appear to wear well. They also had those crazy little buttons. I decided they can't all be wrong and I bought a 200 shares.

Will do fine from now until after Christmas. Who knows after that.

Too many competitors are putting out simular shoos. This will eventually erode Crocs market share to the point that people will buy the cheaper brands first.

This company has built an empire on a fad and is about to crumble. I would short this stock until it hit bottom.

Good product but knock-offs from China are going to hurt business. Local shoe stores report 30-50% decrease in sales from last year

The financial's look solid. I think this a value stock.

I love these comfortable, stylish foam shoes....NOT!!

The market for the comfort and practicality of the crocs' product will drive profits for a long time.

A Big boom for the present a welcoming change to the medical field.
