CVS may be the largest drug chain, but not the best. Walgreen's has that distinction. CVS is increasing size thru debt financing, WAG is virtually debt-free. Once Wag is finished it's rapid expansion, shareholders will reap their rewards. CVS is the Avis of drug chains. Hey, exactly where is Avis today?

Strong on perscriptions and the big gorilla in a lucrative and growing industry. Three mergers last three years (and one more with Caremark) means the company can do it well. Get it now and hold on.

You don't buy a stock because you personally like the product or the store.

CVS has good fundamentals, was technically short term bearish (it was due for some profit taking), but there have been recent insiders buying, analysts are mostly very positive about it. CVS has steadily outperformed the indexes. I suspect this stock will reach $43.00 $44.00 in a few months.

They continue to be a great conveniences store with the built in pharmacy. I see a lot of additional growth possible, especially here within the United States as we have an aging baby boomer generation.

This company has increased its units in smaller cities. Good product, with modern stores and good prices. No one will drive to Walgreens if a CVS is closer.

Short term it may lag as they take care of all the recent acquisitions, but with the stock buyback and continued strategic acquisitions, I think they are setting themselves up for solid performance over the long-term.

Clinics in the stores, good management team, average profit margins...and boring old drugstore business that keeps going. What's not to like.

Acquiring CareMark puts CVS in a great leveraged position to increase its market share of the "Pill Business".

Now the market wide leader in pharmacutical retail. Beginning to get much more name recognition here in the midwest so sales and profit should increase over the next few months
